Adopt and save an Animal
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) is a charity in England and Wales that promotes animal welfare. It is funded by voluntary donations and is one of the largest charities in the UK, with income of £100 million in 2005. Since its founding as the SPCA in 1824 it has inspired the creation of similar, but independent organisations in other countries including the Scottish SPCA, RSPCA Australia, RNZSPCA in New Zealand and the ASPCA in the USA.

Unfortunately all too often animals are lost or 'dumped' by owners who have not made the necessary committments to care for their animals for life.
Animal Rescue Shelters do a wonderful job in caring for such animals but due to the high number that need rescuing they can only hold them for a limited time. To save the lives of these animals new owners need to be found. Shelters offer you the opportunity to Adopt and save these animals.
Not only cross-breeds are dumped - at the Shelters you will find a large number of pure-bred, pedigree animals that you can adopt/purchase at a fraction of the cost of a pure-bred animal from a breeder.
